My new "neo-vintage" Blancpain 7002 (Wempe edition) and Omega 30T2rg hanging out with each other.

The Blancpain is between 36 and 37mm across the dial, while the Omega is closer to 33.5mm across the dial.  While my eyes have been trained to look for something larger on the wrist, I think these 2 work quite well just the way there are.

Of course, there's more to timepieces than outward looks.  What's inside counts quite a bit as well....

The 7002 is certainly one of Blancpain's game efforts on this front.

And this movement needs no introduction.

Quite happy with this scaled-down dynamic duo.

Anyone else care to share some of your smaller timepieces that still manage to impress?

Darren

Longines Marine Nationale. Bravo, Darren. This Blancpain is a great catch. The movement is tip top. Best, Nicolas

Wow, that's not one I see very often...

and certainly not with such amazing patina. I agree it looks perfect at that size. Darren

That Blancpain is a special piece. I love it, and the size is just right IMO.

And Aminco's Longines is super cool. Chris
