not a new launch but I happened to see it...

this model did blow my mind....few reasons for it I could think of,

  • aesthetic sense - something very classy.
  • horological sense - not just adding a movement to a shaped timepiece, but redesigning movement consistent to the dial.
  • built in value - entire movement is made of gold including spring bars...yes spring bars.

below is the Sienna...YG case with the specific fonts in 'reddish tone' matching the terrain of Sienna...

the movement is as stunning as the dial...spellbound is the right word to describe what I felt seeing it.

Caliber 233 is just 2,3 mm thin...made out of 135 components beating at 21600 VPH with a 3 days PR.

case size is 34x38 mm and just 7mm thick.

the timepiece on the wrist sits well albeit lug-to-lug is 42mm only !

One small detail, the hour hand sits-on top while the minute hand is below...this allows to keep the overall thickness lower ;-)

how you like it ?

Note : Timepiece is not mine, display watch in Berneron.

Simply, yes.

I’m not an early adopter; be it tech or watches. Therefore this was not something I could be convinced of when first launched. But I like it now. And with time it also allows one to determine if the novelty factor is weighing on one’s thoughts. For me, at this point I don’t think so.

You’ve exactly mirrored my thoughts…

I’ve not jumped in early and still I’m unsure of such timepieces. What I’ve realized, one is the novelty factor and another is my personality or my own ability to carry it on wrist with my personal comfort. While I love seeing this timepiece separate or on someone’s wrist, I doubt I’ll be able to pull it off.

Thank you for posting. This look fantastic on you!

I really like the design and thought that went into it. I like this versus a Cartier Crash. One of the first “different” designs that is actually different. Not to mention the movement that is not just a regular movement squished into a different case shape. I am seriously wanting to get on the list to get one - but I need to find one in person to try on my wrist as I am a fairly firm believer in must try it on before buying. Looks great on you and that gold color works fantastic! Congratulation

Oh dear no, it isn’t my timepiece

I should have mentioned it clearly in the article, my apologies. This is timepiece of Berneron that I was able to see during W&W

No worries - but I am glad you got

to try it on in person and shared with us. Are orders still years out?

Did you get this one?

It's one of the best ideas from the last few years; different but not crazy different. Quite beautiful. If this is yours big congratulations.
