HSTE shares his experience with a Bentley Continental GT, reflecting on its design, driving dynamics, and the practicalities of ownership after 40,000 kilometers. His post offers a personal perspective on the car's strengths and weaknesses, accompanied by a series of evocative photographs.

Drove it some 40k. But very heavy and - let’s say - conservative on electronics. Still think one of the nicest car designs. And tons of engine.

Cheers, HSTE

Had a Bentley before and thinking all the time to get me a GT but everyone is telling me to hold back because of the electric problems etc . They also told me the V8 is a better car with less problems . Can you please tell me more about your car and his issues !

That is not matched in the car industry. Driving capabilities are certainly very impressive but the consumption makes it a hard to justify choice, over rival GT cars. A GT should be effortlessly fast and have a decent range so that you don not have to stop for fuel every 300- 350 km.
