Slightly off topic: one of the participants . . .

. . . in yesterday's pool tournament was a 20-something guy wearing an older, but not quite yet vintage, Datejust. He'd been given the watch by his father, and had the dial changed from white to blue. After a brief conversation, he volunteered that the watch that most interested him was a Bell & Ross! The square case design was right up his alley. I don't know which amazed me more: his respect for mechanical timepieces in general, or affection for a brand that I assumed had little traction S

One of the pickers in the USA TV series wears Bell & Ross

Mike Wolfe from 'American Pickers' on History Channel wears a Bell & Ross. That is even more amazing as I did not know they had B&R dealers in Iowa. ;) MTF
