In a captivating post, 'oyster case' shares a unique perspective on design harmony, illustrating how seemingly disparate objects can share striking visual parallels. His original photograph, capturing a bicycle perfectly aligned with a classic car, invites readers to explore the subtle art of visual comparison and the unexpected beauty found in everyday observations.

Is this an original Plymouth Superbird ?
John Pointer, a rocket scientist from Chrysler’s missile division, was hired to make the Plymouth Road Runner/Dodge Charger "faster" for racing in NASCAR. He added an aerodynamic nosecone and the large rear wing. In his words, he raised the wing that high “to put it into clean air". An old myth that's still around is that the wing was so high so the trunk could open but the designer himself said that wasn't true.
. . . but my hunch is that it's original.
. . . that the winged Dodge and Plymouth cars were outlawed in '71.
if not, what a coincidence! A very special car, greatly captured
. . . in the early '70s, not one since other than at a car show.
