WatchProSite contributor cfn shares the annual ritual of bringing his 1967 Mercedes-Benz 'Pagoda' out of winter storage, a moment perfectly complemented by his Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Memovox. This post highlights the enduring joy of classic motoring and horology, demonstrating how these passions intertwine for collectors. cfn's experience reminds us that luxury items are meant to be enjoyed and driven, not merely displayed.

It’s (finally) that time of year where I get to test if the old Pagoda is still alive.

Just had my first drive this year, top down and all. So very nice, and the old (1967) car seems to be doing ok. It needs a wash and a cleaning but is ready for some fun.

Also got the Master Compressor Memovox out for the occasion. Big smile on my face today.

But always with a touch of nerves. Will it start, are there new weird sounds, etc.

I was in Skovshoved harbour too earlier, and the wind was cold from the north.

Nice to see the first outing was such a blissful one - and the MCM is a fantastic watch and makes for a cool contrast 👍🏻

I don’t wear it enough even though it is the ‘patient zero’ of my watch journey.
