SALMANPK's original post showcasing the Audemars Piguet 43mm Tourbillon Car Clock sparks a fascinating discussion on the intersection of high horology and automotive luxury. This piece, featured in a Bugatti, challenges traditional notions of watch utility and placement, prompting collectors to consider the purpose and resilience of such an exquisite complication outside its usual context. The thread explores the practicalities and philosophical implications of integrating a tourbillon into a vehicle dashboard.

I feel an uncontrollable urge for a full-leather biscuit interior! ;-)
I mean seriously who needs or better even wants an AP Tourbillon in their dashboard of any car talk about a waste and with the torque and g-force plus uneven roads I can't imagine that is going to be good for the watch either, Marc
but a tourbillon surprised me. That being said, if I was someone for whom getting a Bugatti is like a bag of chips, then I would likely appreciate the next level exclusivity of such a feature. Still seems like a waste of a good watch.
Can it be taken off the car and be worn on the wrist? Beautiful Bugatti! Thanks for sharing. RenΓ©
Pure win-win................... commercially-speaking. Tho many other brands have done these tie-ins. Does the AP re-sync to a home table clock? That would be cool!
I have plenty of dash room ;-)
