I think that dial needs to be witnessed firsthand to be truly appreciated....
I just love everything about it. Even the seconds hand, which at first I was impartial to, I really enjoy now.
I can appreciate the history of the star wheel comp in AP's catalog. The original and the new presentation in the 1159 are both lovely in their own regard. I think that they are both "very AP", and both done well for their times. That being said, having owned both a Gorilla Drift and Urwerk 100. The star wheel is a fleeting fancy for me. I like them, but really need to be in the mood to wear.
Tempted to call the boutique to put me on the list ....
Emotive indeed. I admire some of the Urwerks. Visually stimulating pieces.
It is rewarding to reverse-Vlad Master Vlad!! ;-)
