Hong Kong ๐ญ๐ฐ (Vincent) and Singapore ๐ธ๐ฌ (Ryan) , I was able to visit the AP House in Singapore ๐ธ๐ฌ, located in the iconic Raffles Hotel ! This historic hotel was established in 1887 and was named after Sir Thomas S. Raffles, a British statesman. It finished a big renovation a few years ago but still retains its old charm. Its famed cocktail ๐น , Singapore Sling, is a favorite to many who visits the Long Bar at the hotel.
This visit came shortly after the one last month to AP House in Hong Kong. Both experiences were โWOW WOW WOWโ๐คฉ ๐คฉ๐คฉ. Here is the prior post

Inheriting Rafflesโ original design, this โHouseโ has a very high ceiling, providing a relaxing feel of much space around you. Such comfortable feeling is perfect for viewing & inspecting watches while having a coffee โ๏ธ or drink ๐น.
Similar to the one in Hong Kong, it has a โspeak easyโ room with vinyl records and turn table for music. It also has several VIP rooms, a separate area for service staffed with a watchmaker + loaded with many straps for sales, and a pool table (vs foosball in Hong Kong).
The pool table is placed above a carpet which had a motif inspired by a true story, according to Ryan. The address of the Raffles Hotel is 1 Beach Road (implying that it is next to the water) but it is now not close to the ocean because of the substantial landfill for the past decades. In early 1900s and prior to the landfill, Singapore (being in the tropic) had tigers roaming around. One hot day, a tiger swam up to the Raffles and scared ๐ฑ the heck out of the hotel guests ! The tiger now is still fierce and awaits the shark, pool shark that is !
Since this House is located in a former F&B area in the hotel, AP arranged to have a branded restaurant next to it. The menu is creative and contains a local favorite dish done in a fusion way !
After the two separate visits, my goal now is to see the one in Macau ๐ฒ๐ด!
