depending on how bad the ding/scratch, I might train my eyes not to look at it but for this case, I’ll probably send it to experts to fix it. Sorry to see that.

This is supposed to be my summer & fun watch, so scratches and dings are difficult to avoid

If its a daily wear watch used as a work watch, I wouldn’t mind these scratches etc. compare it to the first “park mg door dent” in your new car. If the watch is used more formal it the damage is lethal

Like you, my eyes tend to look at it all the time. Let's see if I can live with it. My intention is to wait till first maintenance and make a decision then (polish or new bezel). Trying to be positive, it's not so bad to have some marks on your "fun" watch, this way you can be more relaxed when using it. Yes, I know, it's not true, but I'm trying to be positive...
