Please excuse the iphone5 pics. Too much lighting in the boutique.
The De Bethune DB22 Power Reserve represents the brand's manual-winding offering within the DB22 series. Produced from 2008 to 2015, this reference showcases De Bethune's approach to extended power reserve complications in a substantial case format.
The DB22 features a 43mm case crafted from 18k rose gold, fitted with a sapphire crystal and fixed bezel. The silver dial provides a clean backdrop for the manual-winding caliber DB2105 movement, which delivers an exceptional 120-hour power reserve. Water resistance is rated to 30 meters, and the watch is completed with a leather strap.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking contemporary independent watchmaking with extended power reserve functionality. The substantial gold case and five-day power reserve position the DB22 as a statement piece within De Bethune's catalog. The seven-year production run from the brand's formative period makes this reference significant for those following the evolution of modern independent Swiss watchmaking.
I didn't know there were available, already. You are impressively fast. Bravo. Best, Nicolas
:) Still have to wait for delivery since the one there was spoken for. I guess I wasn't fast enough. :)
My comments earlier were sincere; there is something ultra cool about the black subdials, trimmed in RG, on grey, with that silverized minute track. Could not be happier for you!! In case I don't get to see it before, make sure you bring it to the APAC 2013!!
Omg APAC. I can caddy for you. :) Thanks Michael! Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
Still battling this elbow problem. Hope to get 2 or 3 practice rounds in before next summer! We have a title to defend my Friend :-) BTW, kind of off topic, I would love your thoughts on the new Messi LEs if you handled them. I'm diggin' your cermet on RG Schumi, and imagine the tantalum on RG of that piece is pretty hot too. Congrats again, so happy for you.
Hahaha stop downplaying your skills! Messi? It is a really nice looking watch. Bezel pops like crazy but I might be the minority here. I don't like any of the 41mm ROs. I think the text is too large and for the royal oaks they should all remain 39mm and keep it true to the original. Leave it to the offshore line for 42mm and above. My favorite is the PLT on the messi. Tantalum and blue are the perfect color combination. Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T
