At long last, AP has restored desirable aesthetic proportions to the wonderful Royal Oak Chronograph. The new collection (reference 26315) features a 38mm case, and the dials look terrific inside. I expect these models to prove quite popular for Audemars Piguet. Movement remains the Caliber 2385.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Selfwinding Reference 26315
The reference 26315 represents the Royal Oak Selfwinding in a 41mm case configuration. This reference features a blue dial within the Selfwinding series lineup, positioning it as a contemporary interpretation within Audemars Piguet's offerings. Production commenced in 2019.
The 41mm stainless steel case houses the automatic caliber 4302 movement, providing a 70-hour power reserve. The watch features a fixed octagonal bezel and sapphire crystal. Water resistance is rated to 50 meters. The blue dial is paired with a steel bracelet for an integrated aesthetic.
This reference appeals to collectors seeking a modern Royal Oak configuration with extended power reserve capabilities. The 41mm case size and blue dial combination offers a specific aesthetic within the Selfwinding range. The 2019+ production period places this reference among Audemars Piguet's current catalog offerings, featuring the caliber 4302 movement specification.
I fear a tiny little bit to small but...
Always complains about bulkiness of 41 mm . Finally , they released it in a wearable 38 mm size . should have done it from the beginning .
fear nothing , they just reduced its bulkiness .
eg. Rolex day date 41 reduce to 40 Good move I think since I have smaller wrist 😬 But.. FP Journe will be increasing size.
and I am sure that this is a response to the market in China and Asia in general.
38mm with that bezel makes me think the dial will look pretty small.
