ZSHSZ seeks community opinion on the size of a 43mm Audemars Piguet Perpetual Calendar, Equation of Time, Moonphase, Sunrise/Sunset on his wrist. This post delves into the common collector dilemma of wearing larger, highly complicated watches, prompting a discussion on how size perception varies with wrist presence and the complexity of the timepiece itself.

The important question now, before any potential purchase is the following: are you a New-Yorker? π
It doesnβt look that big on your wrist and I belief oh could very well wear it. Is it white gold or platinum as the platinum could be heavy and big at the same time. I noticed the 11h55: a prelude to code 11.59?
Anybody who is not a watch lover or watch expert will be complaining about the size (I do not mean you). You can easily argue how complicated this piece is and that it needs to be bigger. I personally would not think a second about the size: it is an outstanding piece, a star in any collection! I would see this at the same level of GP Three Bridges Tourbi, a Lange Double Split, ...
With that kind of pieces, size does not matter. I think it look ok on your wrist. Enjoy it! Vte
Taking on a watch like that Perpetual Calendar, Equation of Time, Moonphase, Sunrise/Sunset while very beautiful, could be like adopting a child almost ready to go off to college... (at least it won't call you at 4 am for bail or show up in a Spring Break video) Cheers, Cazalea
is nothing wrong with the size but at least I consider the text New York disruptive.
