Nicolas (amanico) initiates a compelling discussion on the 2007 Aston Martin Vanquish S, focusing on its design dichotomy. His original post critically examines the vehicle's aesthetics, particularly the contrast between its 'superb' front and a rear design he finds less inspired. This article synthesizes community insights, exploring both design nuances and critical mechanical considerations that define this era of Aston Martin.

The rear lights are quite terrible - as is the diffusor-like cut-out.
But then again, who cares if youβre behind the wheel
That Vanquish beast is a perfect end point to that period IMO. Beautiful overall but indeed unrefined aesthetically at the rear. Its real weak point is the semi automated gear box though.
Aston Martin DBS manual, to me it still looks stunning today and probably one of the best sounding cars ever (credit:sports car )
And the sound is just phenomenal!
The post I made, the back of that car was great. But not the front.
