Andreas Strehler Celebrates 20 Years of Independence

This past Saturday AHCI member Andreas Strehler celebrated the 20th anniversary of the founding of his company.  To this happy date he invited friends of the company to a grill party in Sirnach at the premises of his company UhrTeil.

Andreas welcomed his guests and gave guided visits through the his shop explaining the history of the company, his concept of creation and how he works to bring his ideas to reality.

Andreas in his office.  At the bench we see here he assembles and regulates all the watches that carry his name himself.  At the touch screen in the foreground he does the mechanical design with a 3D CAD program.

The Cocon
Double barrels with 78 hour power reserve.

Andreas' first machine at the start of his company was this Hauser jig drill.  It is still in use almost every day especially for prototype parts.

Andreas' first CNC machine was this CNC milling machine.  In the mean time the machine part has grown tremendously.

The celebration continued outside the shop.

What could be made in a shop with this next to the front door?

A rare watch seen on a wrist at the celebration.

I would like to thank Andreas for the invitation to his 20 year celebration and shop visit.  I hope that you have enjoyed the visit too (unfortunately you missed the excellent sausages from the charcoal grill).  Let's wish him all the best for the next 20 years!

About the H. Moser Concept Ref. concept

The H. Moser Concept represents the brand's contemporary automatic offering, distinguished by its fumé dial treatment within the Concept series. This reference showcases the manufacturer's approach to modern watchmaking through its 40mm proportions and palladium case construction.

The 40mm palladium case houses the automatic HMC 200 caliber, providing 42 hours of power reserve. The watch features a sapphire crystal and fixed bezel configuration, with water resistance rated to 30 meters. The fumé dial is complemented by a leather strap, creating a refined aesthetic profile.

This reference appeals to collectors seeking contemporary H. Moser craftsmanship in precious metal casing. The palladium construction and fumé dial combination positions this piece within the brand's modern offerings, suitable for those appreciating the manufacturer's current design language. Looks like Andreas spends his money on tools, doesn't it?

He's my kind of guy, only he's been able to kick things up a few more notches from the tools most of us can play with. Thanks very much for letting us have a look around the shop - and the parking lot. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm hungry! Mike

I could not attend due to my sweet baby girl

She had surgery and was recovering....she is fine now. As a sausage dog, she would have liked to attend for the sausages as well. :-) Many L-o-n-g years ahead for Andreas! He spends a lot on precision tools compared to his production numbers. Must be all that engineering for other brands........ Regards, MTF

I have always admired his work,

but have never been fortunate enough to see one of his creations in the metal. This is the next best thing. Thank you for the wonderful tour. Darren
