AuHavrePro, a dedicated member of the Aston Martin Owners Club, shares an exclusive look into a recent club event held at the historic Tam O'Shanter in Los Angeles. His detailed photo essay captures the essence of Aston Martin camaraderie, featuring a rare 1927 Aston Martin Sport and other iconic models. This post offers a unique glimpse into the vibrant community and the enduring appeal of these classic automobiles.

Yesterday afternoon I attended another lovely Aston Martin Owners Club event at the Tam O'Shanter, the oldest continuously running restaurant in Los Angeles (since 1922). Among the 'usual suspects' there was a wonderful 1927 Aston Martin Sport, a truly rare sight even at special Club events like this one.... Ultimately, given the restaurant's proximity to downtown L.A., I had to pay a visit to the historic pueblo, the birthplace of Los Angeles in 1781 by a namesake Spanish explorer and founder Felipe De Neve........ Enjoy! smile

the better events, people don't feel as enthusiastic about bringing out some of the particularly old cars to some events, so seeing the 1927 Sport, and the more obvious 1964 DB4 was a real treat! Anyway, our next event is seeing the Segerstrom Shelby museum in OC the first Sunday of March (if they agree to that date). You're more than welcome to drop-by, that's pretty much in your neighborhood....

And this old AM from 1927! I am sure you all had a blast there. As for Felipe de Neve, there is indisputably an air de famille with you. All the best, Nicolas

It was the first time I saw that 1927 car, a real piece of car history, he did his best to fully preserve it in its original state . As far as my namesake De Neve goes, I do find he was quite an attractive hombre, so your comment is greatly appreciated! LoL . Cheers Nico, Filip

your memory truly dates back centuries! Before that we were both enjoying life on the Croatian coastline in the middle ages - a short hop from your Romanian origins ........

How did that UK-plate 1928 AM ended up there? It is the queen of the show! Glad to see you and that you had nice weather. Do you own one? Best, E.
