Amanico's original post introduces the Alpine A110 San Remo 1973, a limited-edition model celebrating a significant motorsport victory. His detailed overview, complete with stunning photography and a video, provides an excellent foundation for understanding this special vehicle. This article delves into the community's reactions and expert opinions on the car's features, performance, and market position.

To celebrate the the first world championship title, in 1973.

A special blue, some stickers, the GT Chassis, more supple than the S, 300 HP and some special details such as a full Alcantara interior, and... A Red Carbon roof!

Cherry on the cake, a video:

The price is huge ( 89 000 euros ) but the outcome is quite cool, I must say.

I would well see this " base " to make some mandatory improvements: Titanium exhausts, bigger and lighter brakes, a more efficient suspension, dynamic admission, a lithium battery and lighter rims. It would be a BOMB, for approximatively the price of a R.

Best,

Nicolas

About the Alpine Ref. A110

The A110 reference represents a specific offering within the Alpine product line, known for its distinct design characteristics and manufacturing period. This model is recognized by collectors for its particular aesthetic, which sets it apart from other references in the brand's history. Its production run concluded in the late 1970s, marking it as a piece from a defined era of the manufacturer.

Details regarding the case material, dimensions, and the specific movement caliber are integral to understanding the A110. The construction of the case and the type of crystal used contribute to its overall presentation and durability. The movement, whether automatic or manual, and its power reserve are key technical aspects that define its functionality and appeal to enthusiasts.

For collectors, the A110 holds significance as a reference that is no longer in current production, with the last modern examples having been phased out of the catalog. The scarcity of these pieces, particularly those from the final production years, contributes to their appeal in the secondary market. Its place in the brand's lineage offers insight into the evolution of Alpine's design philosophy.

Just kidding Nico. Alpines are the best from France (Bugatti apart) but I am not so sure about the livery.

But it's an awful lot of money for what it is.

You will also learn a lot in the process which is very gratifying (or frustrating at time). My previous ride was quite extensively modified, this time I'm sticking to stock as long as I can (but the temptation is real, I need to stay strong!).

The Corvette is very good. I haven't driven it yet, but the specs show excellent double wishbone suspension, mid engine, 6.2 liter V8 engine, nearly 500 hp, mid engined, and even a dry sump lubrication system! Fully equipped comes in around $88,000 USD plus taxes (on the road around $97,000 USD). Only flaw is that it's heavy, at nearly 1700 kg, could lose 100-200 kg.
