Markus (MCG) introduces the re-edition of the Airain Type XX, a watch that captures his discerning eye for detail. He highlights the brand's commitment to historical accuracy and the inclusion of a column-wheel flyback chronograph movement, setting it apart from typical microbrand offerings. Markus's enthusiasm for the project is evident, culminating in his decision to pre-order the timepiece.

Tom van Wijlick, recently reestablished Airain, an old Swiss/French Watchmanufacturer. Well, you might say, another new „Microbrand“, but what I liked here, Tom goes really deep in details, and for me, it is all about details!

Just have look at this re-issued Type XX model with column wheel movement, including Flyback mechanism!!

I have to say, I‘m in love❣️👏🏻😃

the details are right, the dial colour attractive. Have you seen a pic of the movement?

.

Bulky lugs, the original looks more fluid.

The original is a bit smaller and the lugs more delicate, yes…

I do not perceive them as bulky. Check the other pics…

Really nice military chronograph. The dial color and numerals are tops.
