Clueless_Collector's post, titled 'T-3....', speculates on an upcoming A. Lange & Söhne release teased on Instagram, sparking a lively community debate. The discussion centers on whether the brand would introduce a steel sports watch, a departure from their traditional precious metal offerings, and what this could mean for Lange's brand identity and market strategy.
I do admit I am also very excited!
Especially about the bracelet...
has to be a pusher of some sort, not a mere decoration; that’s why the sides appear in this top-down view to be just slightly larger than the underlying segment. If it’s a pusher, it’s on the side of the case — which means this is likely a thick watch.
(1) a central disk (rather than cylinder) would seem an odd design choice for that purpose, particularly given the slight incongruity with the surrounding segments, and (2) the “teaser” will turn out to be a lot more informative and fun if we learn that it was an optical illusion, disguising a three-dimensional working component as a two-dimensional ornament.
Though that would be an anticlimax, and not nearly as fun as my “helium escape valve or something like it” explanation.
It is going to be a very long wait list
