But for me, this is a winner: the dial is quiet and homogenous, the case proportions are great and the anniversary details are well thought-out and refined. I would gladly wear it on a dark blue cordovan! These Lange 1s are growing on me... maybe I should try one on some day
Hunter case-back is a nice touch. Blue cues are cute, hard to add anything to a Lange 1 without distorting the elegant form factor.
Had the opportunity to try one when it was released... very much liked the added presence of the case with the thicker profile.. but if I were to have one L1 it would be the Darth...
which I like. I’m not so fond about the hue of blue Lange used for this particular series of watches.
I have no "but" to say for this one. It is a delightful piece, even better in flesh. The problem was - as you stated - unveiling probably the laziest set; where each watch individually is beautiful as most Lange 1s are, but goes into a reverse group effect
...is very boring. And it goes through the entire 25th collection. Very disappointing.
