I have a first generation datograph and have always been thinking about the double split. Flying under the radar between the datograph and now the triple split. My main issue is wearability at 43mm, but I have never tried it on. Let us know what you think!!
it still deserves tremendous praise for what it is and represents in the watch world. If it were not for the Triple Split, this Double Split would still be the "king of the hill"

... but it’s a shame they had to cover the escapement up. To me, the balance wheel is like the “heartbeat” of a watch. I love the kinetic motion of seeing it go back-and-forth. So the movement on the double-split is just a little static for me. For that reason alone, I prefer the classic datograph. NickO
