A Rare John Lennon Commemorative 18kt Gold Watch complete with box and papers, New Old Stock Condition, released in 1990 by Seiko to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of his Death in collaboration with his widow Yoko Ono and the organization responsible for conserving and promoting John Lennon's work "Bag One Arts".
Art was actually John’s first love who started to draw when he was 12 years old, he would go on attend the prestigious Liverpool Art Institute for three years from 1957-60, before his occupation would change as a full-time Beatle.
John would continue to draw throughout his life, using his primary medium that was line drawing, either in pen, pencil, or Japanese sumi ink. He originally created a portfolio of drawings in 1969 which he entitled "Bag One". These drawings depicted John and Yoko's wedding and honeymoon and he presented them to her as a wedding gift. A lot of the drawings are very funny and some are very sad, there’s a big emphasis on John’s family, he was madly in love with Yoko Ono and his son Sean, and that is depicted very prominently.
When the drawings were released in 1970 as lithographs they were confiscated by police in several countries because the erotic contents of some of the drawings was considered to be obscene. Although the charges of obscenity never held up in court, many of the lithographs were destroyed by mishandling and John was s discouraged from showing his artwork in public for many years after.

His drawings also became illustrations for three best-selling books that he wrote in the 1960's. In addition, a complete suite of the "Bag One" portfolio of lithographs is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Original drawings are also being collected by museums throughout the world.
