The vast majority of these are gold plated - including one sold by Hodinkee - but this is the rarest one - SOLID gold

It also has the nicest and most desired dial - the black dial, golden panda

Case: amazingly nice lugs, killer oversized case, awesome pump pushers. Showing patina and aging nicely, thankfully it wasnt overpolished to make it shiny and new looking! Preserved beautifully.

Dial: gorgeous condition dial that has timeless good looks

Size: 37.5 mm case is larger for the era and stunning. 11.9mm thick is a great thickness making this watch great on the wrist

Watch comes on a brand new unworn racing strap that pairs perfectly with the watch and non OEM steel buckle.

If you search for this watch, you will see that most are undesirable gold plated. There are very few 18k solid gold ones that come for sale.

I see a few for sale online in worse condition and priced higher! This is the rarest one to find - black dial, solid gold case.

The bang for the buck here is incredible - larger vintage chrono in gold with a great movement for relatively little
