The year 1957 was a spectacular one for Omega. It was the year when Omega introduced the Speedmaster, Seamaster 300 and Railmaster. The first two are probably best known, the Railmaster is a bit more a ‘collectors only’ piece. It is limited in total to 3,557 pieces, as are the commemorative Speedmaster and Seamaster, each coming in packaging directly inspired from 1957. Importantly, this watch is 38mm diameter, exactly the same as the reference CK2914. The Broad arrow handset was also kept, completing the look. The engraved caseback pays respect to the original design while nodding to this being a tribute as well.
