For Your Safety: A Message to All Buyers

  • New Seller Notice: If a seller is new to the Collectors Market with less than 200 posts. While everyone starts somewhere, we strongly recommend using a secure payment method like PayPal Goods & Services or a credit card for purchases for buyer protection.
  • Critical Security Alert: Established accounts can be compromised. Always request a custom timestamp (a photo of the watch with a note of your choosing) from any seller, regardless of their transaction history. For the highest security, a live video call is the best way to confirm the seller physically has the watch.

If a seller refuses these basic checks or you see any red flags, stop the transaction immediately.

Remember: A real seller with a genuine watch has nothing to hide and will understand your need for caution.

Good day, I am posting a very rare, and likely never before seen set of three Limited Edition Grand Seiko’s. Here is a brief rundown on each of the pieces: Grand Seiko SBGW 003 Limited Edition of 300 pieces in 2001, this piece number 0X0/300. Arguably the most beautiful Grand Seiko ever made. Extremely popular both in Japan, and overseas this model has become something of a legend over the years. The movement is the beautiful, hand-winding 9S54A. A very reasonable 36mm case size is suitable for both large and small wrists. The watch is in wonderful condition, (90%) having been serviced twice by Seiko Japan in 2003 and 2009. The watch comes presented with a new brown, non-Seiko strap that matches the watch absolutely perfectly. The watch comes complete with all papers and service receipts, but unfortunately no original box which has been misplaced. Grand Seiko SBGR 037 Limited Edition of 300 pieces in 2008, this piece number 25X/300. Issued for the 10th anniversary of the automatic 9S55 calibre in 2008. This watch is also a very reasonable 37mm in case size making it ideal for both large and smaller wrists. It has the beautiful “GS” tapestry dial, with the subtle, secret GS Lion next to the 2 o’clock marker. It comes on the exceptionally comfortable GS bracelet with all links as originally sold. The watch is in good condition (85%) showing some small scuffs/scratches on the highly polished bezel and bracelet. The watch comes complete with all boxes and papers it was originally sold with. Grand Seiko SBGR 085 Wako Limited Edition of 40 pieces in 2013, this piece number 1X/40. One of Seiko’s smallest LE’s for Wako Department store in Ginza Tokyo. Wako was established by the Hattori family in 1881 which later became known as Seiko Corporation, hence the close connection. This piece is 37mm in size. The watch comes on the GS bracelet, and also includes a spare strap and buckle if you prefer to wear it in that fashion. The watch comes complete with everything as purchased from Wako Department store. The watch has pretty much not been worn, and is in 99% condition. At this point I will not consider selling pieces individually. I want to sell them complete and as a set. My asking price for this set is $17,500, payment by bank wire only. I have been a member here and on the predecessor, The Purists, as well as Timezone for almost 15 years. I have impeccable references for many high value transactions. I would be more than happy to provide any further information or photos if requested. Please contact me via PM. Thank you, and warmest regards.
