Beat Haldimann is a watchmaker’s watchmaker. The descendent of a family business that has been making watches and clocks since the 17th century, he makes nearly every component of his watches in his atelier and without the use of CNC machines! I don’t know of any watchmaker alive that makes more himself and all with hand operated tools. This really is the platonic ideal of an Independent Watch, and at an impossibly reasonable price!
