Heir to the historic triple calendar of 1942, this steel watch takes on a retro look enhanced by the refined gadroons of its case. The calendar information – date hand, day and month aperture – is adorned in blue, while the hour and second hands are embellished with a touch of red. Its movement offers a power reserve of nearly 3 days and features exceptional finishes visible through the open caseback.
The case is a modern size, at 40mm x 10.35mm in diameter. Case is beautifully designed with and of course case construction is more modern, with a 30 meter water resistance. The movement in the new Triple Calendrier 1942 model is a modern manual inhouse Vacheron's 12 1/2 ligne (29mm) caliber 4400 QC, which is based on the hand-wound caliber 4400. Caliber 4400 is actually a fairly recent movement, beautifully hand finished. Watch is on a custom strap whilst original croc strap and pin buckle is well stored.
Purchased July 2019 from local AD and am the first owner. Near new as never wore much at all. Selling due to very low wrist time. Retails at 30k S. I would be very happy for the watch to find an interested collector. Please DM me. Thank you.
