Up for sale my amazing Original Rare Vintage Rolex Submariner 1680 Red. Serial # 326XXXX. Stamped inside case back III71. Awesome Matt black dial Mark IV version (feet first open 6’s). The watch is working perfect and keeping time without issue. See all photos. Selling to fund my next purchase.
Set - comes with all of the following original Rolex accessories - original Rolex Inner and Outer Seahorse box 10.00.01 for this model, Rolex Submariner wave booklet from 1970’s, Rare “Your” Rolex booklet, , the Rolex Document wallet 100.00.41 (split in middle crease to half way), Rolex Translation Guarantee Chronometer Paper, Red Seal Hangtag with thread, Rolex Submariner 200m Cigarette card, 1973/74 calendar and I have my original receipt from previous purchase on Chrone24 from the Dealer.
Dial - Comes with original Plexi glass with wear and tear scratches, has NOS fitted to watch currently. The creamy patina is awesome and the hands are perfectly matching the dial. The red line is bright and white lettering is crisp. Lume is fully intact on markers, minute hand and lollipop seconds. (Missing a fraction of lume depth on the top of the hour hand but lume still runs from top to bottom of hand).
Case – Oyster 40mm stainless steel case with SS original Rolex bezel. The crown protectors are in good condition as well as the lugs. Crown has Rolex logo. The case is in great condition with scars and scuffs, no major dings, scratches or pitting. The reference and the serial number are visible (all digits). Inside the caseback has the watchmakers service marks, was serviced in 2018 by local dealer but no original parts were replaced or service parts installed. Beautifully aged black / greyish bezel with original Pearl, turns smoothly without clicks.
Bracelet - original folded stainless steel Rolex 9315 bracelet with 380 end links and Rolex pins. Oysterlock foldable clasp with diver extension properly hallmarked and unique “Pateted” stamp, missing one small lip on the end of the clasp.
Movement – Swiss made calibre 1570 mechanical self-winding movement, functions are hours, minutes, seconds and date at 3, COSC certified.
