The “Final Edition”

Dec 26, 2024,23:40 PM

The so-called final edition of Ferdinand Berthoud’s original fusee and chain/tourbillon movement is housed in a round case. While the movement is out of this world, the dial side isn’t bad either (I think it’s beautiful). And notwithstanding its sizeable 44m case, it manages to fit pretty well on my sub-7 inch wrist, perhaps thanks to lugs that hug closely to the side of the case. Overall, just a wonderful piece! Perhaps a fun one to ring in the new year.

...if I had the funds I would own at least one example. Someday I would love to try one on for size : )

A Masterpiece.

The FB 3 is beautiful. Wonderfully finished, and a great combination of classic dress watch and impressive complication.
