As soon as I get the chance, will experiment a little. I was thinking of Nubuck, maybe some saffiano leather, possibly of chocolate or even dark green (in my eyes it seems to work with YG and would maybe pick up the dial?). Will post these when I get the chance!

After a long time reading and lurking all things Chopard, I finally decided to jump over the fence and bought this Chopard LUC 1860 x Revolution. I’m in love with that one and hope that the honeymoon lasts a long time: I usually prefer yellow to pink gold...

Thanks Nico and indeed it is a good start into the weekend. Eklektik had mentioned some weeks back this newly illustrated of “Terre des hommes”, so I ordered and just received this copy… many good hours ahead of me 😀

Great book which I haven’t read for like 30 years. Will be interesting how one reacts to a rereading after so long …

Indeed I think that Chopard does beautifully looking watches which are possibly getting less praise than they deserve. Love the design, the slightly smaller case me the beautiful movement!
