Chopard

This little beauty arrived just a few minutes ago. A Jacky Ickx 3rd edition. It's a used one, naturally and not completely mint, but I don't care because it's beautiful......

Yes, I do love the 24 hour marker, it's very unique. I can't really lie in being attracted by the price of this one - there's no denying that it's a used watch and not really one of the more investable of models (the V3 isn't the XL size and doesn't have ...

The L.U.C 1963 Collection was a 50th anniversary "gift" to Mama and Papa Scheufele who took on Chopard in 1963. Thus, it had design motifs from that era viz. Roman numerals for normal time and Arabic numerals for chronograph displays. Both the rose gold a...

Would it be possible for you to verify the flyback function for the 3rd edition? I ask this because while the chrono is in action, the bottom pusher feel as though there's an intentional mechanical block to stop it being pressed. This is the same as for m...

You mean like this? I assume this is correct. I think that as the 24 hour chronograph works as it should, this can only be the correct movement. ...

I've contacted the seller (a watch dealer on eBay) with a view to getting this repaired. I appreciate the irony that this is now my second Chopard, and both have issues with the bottom pusher...

Thanks again for the clarification. I think that maybe the wasp in the jelly of this series is the second edition, which has "flyback" indicated on the dial but no large date. I guess that Chopard wanted the big date for the number 3, but couldn't for som...
