Chopard LUC Time Traveler One.

 By: amanico : June 4th, 2021-09:56
Here is one of my favorite Chopard. A watch which is in my list as I want to build a small collection of World Time Watches. This one is 42 mm big, 12 mm high, which is good for me, even if I would have loved 2 mm less big and 1 mm less high, but it is ok...

An Amazing watch !

I am beginning to warm up to the Chopard LUC offers. Amazing build and decoration. Top movements. Really like that they are slowly getting noticed. Recently saw the Quattro Spirit 25 in metal. Beautiful and sized at 40mm. Somewhat pricey though.

Very nice worldtimer.

Superb dial design and good legibility of the local time, world time off the markers pointing to each city on the 24 hr ring, and the date off the arrow pointer. 4 hand stack ...

+++1!

Monochromic and stealthy. Credit : Chopard ...

A huge PLUS ONE!

Great watch, would live to see this movement & dial in an Alpine Eagle case

Assuming it would need to be around the dimensions of the chronograph to fit, probably need to expand the inner diameter also, but it would be a pretty impressive travel companion. The Singapore Version had a nice colour scheme also.

You forget to mention the striking orange hands!

Quite a looker this one, but definitely too large for me.

LOL!

Thatโ€™s a great looking dial!

The more difficult traveling has become, there more such a watch can make you dream about the world

This is a very nice specimen of a WT watch.

The dial is beautiful. It even has a date in a tasteful way. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I also like the case size which is perfect for me. Just the movement looks a little bit small? Best Thomas

Agree

World timer collection

A good direction to focus on. My direction is a world timer with a globe on the dial. First i buy a moon phase complication watch. After the world timer, perhaps a fun watch for todays modern times.

Good decisions.

Dial side is lovely. I agree about the calibre.

For world time my favourite front and back is 5110/5130/5230. Front and functionality I do like the JLC geo and universal. The Vacheron, Glashutte and Breguet are both very nice, but a bit on the larger side and for the money I like the Patek world time. ...

I'm fortunate enough to own one of these and can recommend it highly for all the reasons mentioned in this thread so far.

I have huge admiration for LUC too. They operate at a scale that allows them to deliver quality above their immediate comparators. "Patek for pennies," says Tim Mosso. Like you, I also have a small but growing penchant for world timers, and am gravitating...
