Response from Chopard
Last week, I contacted Chopard via their website to ask about the flyback feature for this edition (not that I mistrust any experience here, but "official" words weigh more than forum members when it comes to warranty issues).
Response (so far):

So, the initial response from Chopard seems to contradict the specifications that MTF quoted above. This is interesting, and I await further news.

This little beauty arrived just a few minutes ago. A Jacky Ickx 3rd edition. It's a used one, naturally and not completely mint, but I don't care because it's beautiful......
