Less is more aesthetic hiding some wonderful sophistication (jump hour, enamel dial) is what makes this model very special for me.

I tried the current black color model few weeks ago. But I found the white dial/ rose gold version is better looking : )

As I have a soft spot for rose gold, the white gold/black dial version attracts me less, but it's interesting to know how you felt about it in the metal (I've never seen it for real). And, yes, the 16/1860 is another jam indeed. Best.

Felt not so heavy. Black enamel with white gold is a cold/ safe combination, but not as elegant as the rose gold version IMO. 40mm looks big on my 6.5 inches wrist, but not so bad in reality. ...  

I find the white gold/black dial combo a bit cold too. I have a thin 16cm wrist and I find that the watch wears well. I think I might have a chance to see this white gold version next week. I’ll let you know. Have a nice weekend.
