I tried my best to do it justice with a phone camera but it’s one of those watches that you have to see in the metal to fully appreciate.

You took some good photos [nt]

Looks great

Both the 36mm and 41mm look great on your wrist. That steel looks amazing! Did you have a preference between the two sizes? On some blogs, I've heard that 36mm wears small but it looks very wearable to me.

Sorry

I honestly don’t know my wrist size but here’s a quick shots of my 41 LUC pro one for some reference

Nice dials.

Not bad on the wrist. I can see the roots in it, but also a few features from other watches (VC, AP, Hublot, Patek.). I don't like that at all, too obvious for the trained eye. What's with the trend of mixing successful designs from the past to outlive t...

1 More VC and Hublot..

Where the case tapers to the integrated bracelet down to the non-Maltese cross links reminds me of the first series VC Overseas. The case shape is pre-Biver Hublot ("Hublot Classic") .. Of course, with those screws, it could be from any of the ones who po...

You pretty much covered them all :)

but I do like the new Santos bracelet with their easy link system also the x71 of Blancpain is IMO the bracelet to beat not forgetting the LUC pro bracelets

I have to be honest it looks disappointing

1) movement doesn’t have date at 3 for symmetry 2) derivative 3) as above I fear many brands will follow this trend and beat it to death. I don’t think this will even not dent Rolex and Patek steel sales. A market correction will. No offence to Chopard fa...

To me

I prefer the date at 4:30 specially on lumed dials, but you’re right it’s not going to affect Rolex’s and Patek’s steel premiums and waiting lists. But trust me this one is to be seen in the metal to fully appreciate case, bracelet

Not really sure until I see one in the metal...

The dial - especially the blue one - looks fantastic and the fact that a date free version exists is a definite bonus. As for the rest I see the reference to the but would not say that's the most iconic line from Chopard. I would much rather have seen a ...

My thoughts exactly

That's a good looking watch!

Can't wait to see it in person! Wished the movement was from the L.U.C Collection! Those L.U.C movements are beautifully finished!

Thanks [nt]
