I doff my hat to a different team of red

Despite my country's RED team (Wales) not attending the Football World Cup Finals this year, I have to doff my hat to another red uniformed football team.
No...not Russia but ENGLAND for winning a penalty shoot out for the first time at the World Cup having lost the last three such events.
They also had a unbelievable 6 out of 7 shoot out failures since 1996.
