Chopard

I will come back to this watch later, but for the moment, I wanted to share with you a watch I consider as one of this year highlights, the LUC QUATTRO SPIRIT 25, in white gold. 40 mm case, 10, 30 mm high, the proportions are very good, in my opinion. But...

It puts the brand in focus... but I am not too convinced about the L.U.Chopard... Would love to try that one on

because the black dial makes the watch look smaller. In addition, it is more difficult to produce a black enamel than a white enamel dial. Bravo to Chopard because I feel its novelties were arguably the best among the bigger brands.

Wish they made it in their consciously-resourced steel

Steel and titanium can take polish very well (and cheaply too)

...they have an Art Deco quality that appeals to me. Is the hour window as deep as the previous version? Some reviews mentioned that it wasn't ideal...

and ordered one. I couldn't help myself. I think that they are producing some sublime new models. The new subtle deep green sector piece is,,,,hard to use this word, perfect. The delightful monotone QF is, too me, the best yet. They are on a roll!

But the price point is tough. Chopard is doing some great things lately but they haven’t historically held their value. For that money I’m buying an Eichi all day long.
