came up. I own a '97 Chopard LUC and purchased in USA. It's about 36mm wide and has a double barreled 100 hour automatic movement. I'm the original owner, but don't know the model name. Any help in identifying the model would be of great assistance....

Sir, Based on the photograph of the dial and case, that is not an Chopard L.U.C. watch i.e. with the recent L.U.C. movement. It could be what was known simply as a 'Chopard Automatic' ref. 16/1223 with a Frederic Piguet Cal.1160 movement. Officially, the ...

The Certificate of Origen states it's a 16/1223. It seems in 1997, though, Chopard must have been thinking of branding this model as a LUC as LUC is printed on the winding crown. Thanks for the quick help, Melvyn!
