Chopard LUC 1860 x Revolution
After a long time reading and lurking all things Chopard, I finally decided to jump over the fence and bought this Chopard LUC 1860 x Revolution.
I’m in love with that one and hope that the honeymoon lasts a long time: I usually prefer yellow to pink gold so the dial is very much to my taste; the movement is a delight with its fine micro-rotor; the smaller size combined with the light weight of steel make it a watch which is easily forgotten on the wrist (positively meant, it’s just there but you forget wearing it); finally was wondering about readability but the treatment of hands and dial is such that I’m able to read the time in various light conditions.
Altogether a very nice addition to the collection!

As soon as I get the chance, will experiment a little. I was thinking of Nubuck, maybe some saffiano leather, possibly of chocolate or even dark green (in my eyes it seems to work with YG and would maybe pick up the dial?). Will post these when I get the ...
