Positively surprised by the Alpine Eagle.

Case and bracelet are outstanding quality at this price level. The dial is absolutely stunning in real life. Without date, this would be a no-brainer for me. Also, I would have preferred a closed caseback, the movement is not really a looker. Best, V. ...

I see your pt but my Q is more towards their fwd luking vision and positioning. MM is more of their estd chrono piece since '88 IIRC, their association wih racing. This line is more a revival of St Moritz

when all along I have been expecting a luxury version of their more successful LUC 2000 sports watch or at least a well-finished version of Alpine. At 15k they place themselves above Rolex and below VC when they have the capacity/capability to match VCs O...

Great shot

Alpine Eagle has a very good exterior. It can be said that the movement was compromised to protect the price range. However, if I consider using it regularly, I think that the conclusion that fits the concept of this watch is that it has a reliable moveme...

Agreed. Cheers. [nt]

Felt great on the wrist and looks great too.

It’s strange because I don’t like Roman numerals and I hate

date windows between 4 and 5. Nevertheless, I really liked the watch. It’s a somehow different and refreshing package.

It’s good to see more alternatives and options in this arena of SS Sports watch...

But like you said, I also don’t like a date cutout at the 4-5 o’clock position (My OCD will kill me), why ruin that beautiful dial? Also for people who have AP or Nautiluses, I don’t think they will add this in their collection, at least I won’t. Neverthe...

Thanks for your feedback. [nt]

The most impressive part of the photo...

In the first photo, one of the pillows has a stitched leather edge! Wow! Oh, back to the watch... How thick is it on your wrist? I'm looking for something that's thin like the 5711 or 15202 from Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet respectively. This Chopar...

I will forward your compliments to the Chopard Boutique. 😉

I would say that the case thickness is in the area of 11 mm so much thicker than a 15202 or a Nautilus.

Gotcha, that's a tad thicker than I had hoped.

But I'll still try it out as soon as I get the chance.

Beautiful dial in this new Chopard.
