The fancy coloured stones are for the other designs like parakeets or crocodiles or bees.
For contrast, Cartier need to produce a few subtle pieces like this microsculpture.
That makes the fancy stones even fancier on the candy pieces.

From an object to a diorama ! Stunning evolution. Although I would much prefer some Colors , some rubies sapphires etc. That would have brought out the layers more. Cartier bling at its BEST !
