Temperamental Pasha big date - is this common?

Apr 03, 2016,13:33 PM

My wife has been a very happy owner of a Pasha for a while until it started playing up recently. The picture below demonstrates the problem:

As you see, we are in veeeery late March wink In fact this is the second time this happened. The first time the watchmaker claimed it was a user error but sorted it free of charge. Now I cannot confirm the user error story, since it was me setting it and the date mechanism was not preloaded, when I did so.

This time around it was kept running since returning from the spa and this is the result of the end of the month. Meaning neither my wife nor I were changing the date at all...

It is going back tomorrow but was just wondering if anyone had a similar issue with a Cartier or another watch and if this just bad luck or something not unique with the model?

Thanks in advance!

More seriously, it is not normal. And I don't see why it could be an user error. The date system is not working properly. Period. So they have to fix it. Best regards. Fx

What they tried to 'explain' was...

That we were using the quick date change mechanism between 21.00 and 03.00, which definitely did not happen...

Damn! I had the same problem today on a Seiko

No kidding, my wife came over to see why I was laughing out loud at your post. I know it's no laughing matter, but here's what I saw 30 minutes ago when I came down to my office: In my case it was easy to fix - open the door, tickle the left wheel and it ...

Let's keep the fingers crossed...

Took it to be fixed today and the dealer was quite perplexed himself but suitably apologetic. Let\'s see how it goes...
