I decided I was going to buy the new Tank Francaise the minute I saw the first pics of it. I bought the Large model when I'd originally intended on getting the mid size.
15 years ago I had a mid size & it looked fine on my wrist then. Now 15kg heavier it looked a bit lost on my wrist by comparison.
It's a beautifully finished watch, a step up from the old Tank. My only criticism is that at night you can't see anything on the dial, nevermind tell the time.

To try on a Tank Française (medium size). I had my Reverso on, which the sales associate really liked, and there is a comparison photo. He also had me try on a Ballon Bleu. I have come close to buying a Santos or Santos Dumont in recent years; I have also...

the Tank Française works well on a bracelet... would give some variety relative to your Reverso +++

I've never warmed up to Cartier's round watches for some reason... maybe because their tank cases are such classics

I feel the same way.

The Tank Française (medium size) looks good on your wrist and would be my preference between this one and the Ballon Bleu. Please let us know which one you choose.

Beautiful watches

The Française could look great on a strap.

I’d go for the Française…

And I’d get a nice alligator strap + deployment buckle to compliment the case. Cartiers are made for straps imho )

I would also lean towards the TF between the two, but either way you can't be wrong -- I'm certain you'll love their class and presence! ;-)

I also noticed a pretty remarkable increase in awareness and interest in Cartier among our members (myself included! ;-) It's hardly a coincidence that this started around the time we added a highly competent moderator to this section... I think Cartier s...

The Ballon Bleu is not going to happen — aside from what a nice watch it is — the Tank Francaise is what has my attention.

I think you should consider the medium Santos de Cartier.

It’s a great size, automatic movement and the price isn’t a killer. ...

The new Tank Francaise is a winner

Love the way the case and bracelet are polished. Medium size will be for me. GEO
