I share this watch with my wife, a classic Tank appearance with the heft of a thick platinum case. Does anyone know the number they made of this Collection Privée Cartier Paris edition? ...  

I saw a picture on the net of your watch with number 143. I also read that of the skeletonized version 25 pieces were made. My wild guess is that 150 of your watch were made. Plz correct me if I am wrong.

Cartier released, between 1998-2008, every year just a few models, most of them were limited editions to 100 pieces, how do you come to 3000, or do I misunderstand your sentence. GEO

The series ran 10 years, what would mean that there are 30.000 CPCP pieces produced. I am sure the article is right, I just find it hard to believe, when I look at the second hand market. GEO

had other calibers than the LE. So nobody - except probably Cartier - knows exactly how many CPCP's were made!! So far my study of Cartier today. Cheers, Bobbe

Cartier had during CPCP a hard time to get the CPCP pieces together. At that time the company was not producing all parts in house, like they do today. And I cannot imagine that 300-500 pieces non LE were produced, while we never see these pieces in the s... 

from a watch that was originally a limited edition of just 100 pieces, let's try to locate one these non LE versions, that should be easier than finding the official LE CPCP models. As far as now, I have never seen one and believe me, I search every day f... 

My watch is numbered: 000X MG. Anyone know what that means?
