Many of you have probably already seen the early pictures of Cartier's latest iteration of the Tank Asymetrique on instagram or in FT's How to Spend it, but just in case here is a picture (courtesy of Nick Foulkes) and a link to the FT article with pictures of platinum version as well: howtospendit.ft.com

Only the Financial Times had a sneek pre view. Let's respect this date. GEO

The Tank Cintrée platinum of last year was also limited to 100 pc. and the watch is still available in the Boutiques. These pieces are really collector's pieces and are not always appreciated by the general public.

I agree - these will be available to anybody who wants one for a year or so.

The prices are significantly higher than the equivalent cintree releases of the last few years so they won’t exactly fly off the shelves in the post Covid economic climate.......

I personally would also prefer the older cpcp variant with its Roman numerals, breguet hands and guilloche dial - unbeatable in my book, but I am also a sucker for these classic Cartier traits. That said, I still think the new version looks beautiful and ...

Yes that's very apparent that where the inspiration lies.

I like the platinum version in new launch. There are no photo available for the back of these watches.
