It may be that people who appreciate and use Cartier products rather than "colllect" are different from the new collectors of brand names. The same could be said of Audemars Piguet supporters who do NOT collect Royal Oak lines 
Maybe, they are not prone to shout or point to their good stuff? There is no need to draw attention to an old house like Cartier.....
I'm guilty, and my wife is guilty; we have known and used the CPCP lines for years but never posted photos or postings. Don't really know why - maybe like air and water - Cartier just exists.
