From its serial number it is from first batch of the then new 39J G-P, if not the first one of that batch according to an expert on this site. The movement is all gilt coloured. I have just had it serviced by my local watch repairer. It seems to have been kept in storage for a long time. Bought at auction for very little money from the estate of a late renowned Dutch collector.
I don't know how you feel about magnified date windows...

Yup for sure. It's the reason I bought a Seadweller rather than a Sub though.
These days I'd probably prefer no date on anything, since it was handy when a person wrote checks but I haven't written one in ages. lol.

With magnifier or without magnifier, I am not a fan of date windows on any watches.
All of my recent acquisitions, except a WG Submariner, have no dates. And the one's I have with dates, are subject to being "chopped". I prefer simpicity and the cleaner the dial the better for me. That said, I think your Pasha has an interesting approach...
I agree with you one hundred percent.
No date would have been the better option but if they HAD to do it at least they didn't destroy the "3". That would have been a disaster.
Date window not withstanding both those Pashas are very nice looking watches.
Been very close to buying one a few years ago, when I thought I should own every watch that I saw.

Nice thing about them is the huge variety of sizes and functions to choose from. The 35mm suited me perfectly. Far be it from me to encourage you to go out and buy another watch but for the money it's a pretty excellent value...just sayin'...

I see your point and you're correct in a much larger sense too.
If all I have to complain about is the date magnifier on my fancy wristwatch things can't possibly be all that bad.

Chrono24, Bob's Watches and Roy&Sacha Davidoff suggests that Yes Tritium dial. Thanks for suggesting that.
If you must have a date and cyclops, then the cyclops should be under the crystal . . .

Cartier at least put it on the underside of the crystal. That sure is a nice GP you've got there.
