Regardless, I think it looks just a bit better than green.

I have tried both on my wrist and in an ideal world you would have both. Cartier are making some great watches and the white dial version is also a contender.

Yes indeed both are different watches and can be added simultaneously, only it’s difficult to manage this hobby with price escalation across the board. You don’t know what they intend to bring next year. 😊

You can’t go wrong with a Santos and not forgetting this blue version … ...  

My wife’s first choice is blue. I told her that I’ve many watches in blue dial. She still insisted that this blue is different than others. Cartier is a tough brand to deal with if you’re confused between two products. It goes with their jewellery article... 

Green is an unisex colour but brown/tobacco is definitely for men…

as I never saw them in metal but if they look like in your photos then I’d get the brown one for sure, much more chic.

but I myself went for the green, since I already have a couple of brown dials. I had the blue dial Santos de Cartier at one point, but it had legibility issues for me and the blue hue was ultimately insufficiently vibrant for my taste. That said, you won’... 

I’ve a brown PAM 931 but that’s altogether different. You can’t compare Cartier with Panerai IMO.

I feel earthy colours go well with casual wear and I wear my Santos watches with jeans and shirts.

However,i think the brown would be more comfortable in the long run

Brown, being earthy colour, will go well with Santos image….

I would gp with wear it on the green strap most of the time.

First colour that comes to mind with Cartier is this green only. It’s more towards British racing car green with deeper hues. I can appreciate its feeling.
