I'm going to start a rumour about Cartier and FP Journe

but NOBODY must remember where they heard it

But first, I must confess that I did not know about any alleged link between FPJ and Cartier for the Cartier Tortue Chrono Monopoussoir.......but that may be why Mrs MTF will wear the FPJ chronographe too.

Back to the rumour...hehehe. Remember the brouhaha about the unusual design of the FPJ Vagabondage? Our FPJ forum was ablaze with discussion about how it did not "fit" with it's brethren. All FPJ watch lines have the same family features but the Vagabondage is just .....well...a vagabond looking for a home.

A little watch-elf told me that it started as a special project for Cartier but was not taken up. Having invested time and effort, FPJ was persuaded to launch as a limited 3-piece series for auction. Later, more persuasion from a colourful collector and it became the 69-piece limited edition.

There  -  I said it; and now I'll have to shoot myself............

Alcohol on the lips.....sink ships!
