Cartier

Hi there ! I usually post in the JLC section, but recently acquired a vintage Cartier ladies watch ... I know nothing about their watches, so was hoping to get some more info on this watch if anyone knew about it: model, possible year, etc. Serial number ...

That was me but no I didn’t get it from there, it’s not my style so I decided to sell it anyways hahaha (I am not a very patient person haha). After some of the responses here I decided to be inclined that it wasn’t a fake, but like I said it’s not really... 

This type of hands are usually not used by Cartier, but I may be wrong. GEO

So it may be a fake ? I think it’s only worth a couple of hundred dollars so I would be inclined to think it wouldn’t be worth faking, unless it was faked back in the 70’s or 80’s ...

this type of hands is usually used by cartier in faces without numbers using only colors or materials like mother pearl, can be original, a lot of vintage cartier watch have that engrieve in the back,

I think your watch is a fake. The case should be Vermeil being .925 silver and 20 micron gold plated and hallmarked accordingly. Also the back should be hallmarked with some other various Cartier stamps. I also believe the case back and possible the sides...  

Sorry but this watch is fake. It’s an electroplated Cartier Ceinture that never existed.
